It seems they are keeping the same dates despite the bank holiday this year is on the Friday 8th May.

Wonder if this is the end of the show !!

It's dated for the Saturday and Sunday, 

So does that mean we can camp from Friday? 

As there is no Monday show this year

Stoneleigh Park lodge rang me before Christmas to ask if I wanted my booking changing to reflect Saturday/Sunday show, so we're now booked in Friday and Saturday night.

2020 May bank holiday will be moved to mark 75th anniversary of VE Day

The early May bank holiday in 2020 will move from Monday 4 May to Friday 8 May to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

Its "probably going to be the last ever show" ever since I started going

There's plenty of reasons why it could be the last, let's hope it isn't. I think the main one is that it doesn't attract as many members of the public as it used to and most kit owners get in free so it's not profitable for the organisers. Unless you're there for the social side of things, there's not much there to tempt previous visitors in.

Agree, the kit cars might be the show, but the kit car owners are the ones who want to attend the show. I love the free entry, but I don’t know if any other car niche where the vehicle owners get into shows free.

There a fantastic vw show nearby most years ame weekend .I'm sure that thay would let you guys join them it's about 5x bigger that the kit car one .

'Fantastic' is relative - not personally a VW person - the large stand of Buggies at Stoneleigh every year are enough for me
