I dont think there isn’t a lot of choice at the moment, I know there were supply issues of road legal track day tyres because of them not complying with eu regs. If you can get them I quite liked federal 595rs-r when I drove on them.

I've only used ones you can't get any more so I'll bow out of this conversation well, except R888's, but I wouldn't really rate them for the road. Ok for perfectly dry conditions but need a bit of heat in them, you have to be sensible with them.

If you go 888 get GGG compound. Super soft and sticky, ideal for lighter cars because they heat up rapid. I’ve used them in the wet, no drama. Our cars are predominantly dry weather animals anyway.

Federal 595 rsr.  Good in the dry and not lethal in the wet.
