Have you bought the new loom yet? If not, get the Premier Wiring one. It's pretty straightforward to fit and plenty of people have used it so there's help available here if you need it. 

Getting a pro in to do the job won't be cheap because it's quite time consuming.

yes have the gbs chassis harness + instrument harness  and smiths flight gauge  set all new with the car when i got it only i never removed the old loom so its a bit of a headache

OK. I'm not familiar with the GBS harness but there will be people that are. Do you have the paperwork with it that shows what goes where?
