Indicator relay location

Dose anyone know where the Indicator relay is located?

Obvious answer on a kitcar is wherever the builder decided to put it

Just replaced mine on my S7. It is mounted behind the steering wheel top right on bulkhead. Quite well hidden!

I have looked everywhere where and can’t find a relay.  Is it possible it’s in the fuse box?  I have more relays than my s7 fuse box.

That's the standard Ford fuse/relay box, think the flasher relay is either the red or grey in the middle.

Looking online the grey relay is for heated screen and the red one is for the wipers

If you can trace the wires from your light stalks then you should find a 3-wire circuit with a triangular 3 pole plug fitted that

should have the flasher unit fitted as behind the dash board.

Hope that helps. Not in the fuse box.

It should come out the loom at about the same point as the brake light switch wiring.

Does anything work, indicators, hazards, if you can get any to work leaving them on & go around just touching the relays.

Memory fade Maca, on second thoughts; think I moved Florin's relay during her build.

Nothing works apart from continuous light on hazard switch when switched on.

 

have traced the wiring from stalk..... I have even moved the dashboard to get a better look and cannot find a relay......

Are you talking about my car or somebody else’s build?

The image is taken from a friends wiring of the doner loom so I would assume that your wiring would be the same.

You can clearly see the flasher unit hanging from the harness in the picture so follow the 3-core wires back to the main loom.

So where was it located before you found it?

Think you have a little bit of water ingress!
