IT HAS BEEN ARRANGED, SO MAKE USE OF A VERY CHEAP OPPORTUNITY

 

Curently 20-30 cars are expected.

Spectators are most welcome.

Those intending to take part please note;

 

IT IS ADVISABLE TO BE AT BARKSTON HEATH BY O9.OO AS A TRACK BRIEF WILL TAKE PLACE AT 09.30.

THOSE TAKING PART WILL NEED TO SIGN ON WITH THE CLERK OF THE COURSE, CHRIS GWILLIAM, AT THIS TIME.

PASSENGERS NEED TO BE IN HELMETS AND NON FLAMABLE OVERALLS AS WILL THE DRIVERS.

CONVOY RUNS WILL START AT 10.00 AND RACING SHORTLY AFTER.

THERE WILL BE A BREAK FOR LUNCH 13.00-14.00

PROVIDED ENOUGH PEOPLE WANT TO KEEP GOING WE HAVE THE TRACK UNTIL 17.00

THERE IS A VERY GENEROUS 110 DB LIMIT.

 

The RAFMSA also provide marshalls, crash crews and medical staff for the day.

There will be access to proper toilets and showers and power points for those wishing to play with the mains, or wish to plug a small, noisy battery related member into the afore mentioned.

 

Anyone wishing to arrive on friday night and camp, at no charge please contact me as soon as possible.

Camping will also be available on Saturday night, at no charge.

 

The RAFMSA have very recently been hit with a huge insurance hike, the price for taking part in the RAFMSA sprint event on Sunday has risen proportionately, it will be £30, payable to RAFMSA. This is still a very cheap days competitive sprinting which is very well organised.

I drove past the venue yesterday, it looked interesting but a little bleak if its wet or windy.

Can I confirm my booking as I paid cash to Tim at donnington and wrote details on piece of paper?

It should be ok, so long as they don't end up with 56 turning up on the day.

 

Bets idea would be to pm Tim on Thurs/Fri to check for spaces and let him know to include you.

 

Tim will be there so you can pay on the day but it may be best to confirm numbers before driving there

Practice for the RAFMSA sprint on sunday should start around 10 am

When do you need to know for the sprint? I'm definitely coming on Saturday (cheque's been paid to Tim) and I don't need camping on the Friday, but I may want to stay over Saturday night and do the Sprint on Sunday. What's the latest I can enter?

There should be no problem entering the RAFMSA sprint.

Contact the clerk of the course, Chris Gwilliam, when you arrive on saturday.

What's the score with:

 

A. Petrol. Where's the nearest garage, is it Shell & do people take a couple of extra gallon in cans for the day or what??

 

B. Tyres. Should I be setting them the same as I do on the road? (20 psi cold)
