Decoding my engine number

Hi guys 

I have recently purchased a RH 2b that is an unfinished kit. I will no doubt be on here every 5 mins asking for advice but I was looking at my engine number today and was wondering if I could get some help in decoding it ?? 

JL72068 is the number.

Assuming you have a Ford engine, it was built Sept 1988.
