Lightweight Race Battery

As title says anyone have or used a lithium race battery like the odessey ones if so how has it been.

Odessey PB680 fitted to Florin ( 1800 CVH engine) at build --- all fine for 4 years/ 35K miles then had trouble turning the engine if engine very hot.  Bought another & connected both in parallel as no faults were found on testing old one.  We are now in our 9th year/ 53K  & no further trouble.

As per a previous post Florin is connected to a CTEX charger when sat in the garage.

Yuasa NP17-12I are a good alternative to the oddysey pc680 and similar.  They can be bough for less than £50 and appear to be an identical battery.  I have fitted one to the Prefect and Steve Walford uses them in all his race cars.
