Hi guys, just seen an interesting 'Hood' up for sale on Facebook. Had a close look at the pics and looks pretty good from what I can see, a decent project for someone. They are only asking £1,500.

There was an episode of 'Bangers and Cash' on yesterday where they found an original Mini Cooper S in someone's garage. It had a tax disc from 1978, was completely rotten throughout, the engine wasn't even good enough for scrap IMO (the rubber HT leads seemed to have completely rotted away!)...

...BUT it sold for £18k!!!! . They reckon, once restored, it would be worth £50k! But, man, what a restoration - I can't imagine anything other than the VIN plate could be re-used (which I guess is the point).
