Weber’s or bike carbs

I know This question has been asked a number of times but what is best Weber’s or bike carbs or even throttle bodies?????

I have been struggling to set up my twin Weber dcoe 40’s  and I am at the point of giving up and maybe go to bike carbs instead?

 

any advise for the best route would be appreciated.

Define best. 

Best power, best value, best driveability?

Personally, I think bike carbs take some beating for value and driveability. Throttle bodies would need an ECU to control them which probably puts them at the top in cost terms.

I struggle to find good things to say about twin Weber's, while I'm sure people do get them to work, they're old tech now.

Thanks for the reply Richy,  I did have bike carbs on my car when I bought it..... I stupidly sold them and bought the webers...... Kicking myself.

I think I need to try a bit more on the webers before giving up.

Going to do a new thread to see if someone can help.

I've had both over the years. Weber's were always going out of balance and contently needed fiddling with (or so it seemed). I changed to R1 bike carbs and once sheet up have been fine. 2.1 pinto by the way.
