Hi guys. I’ve been looking at a 2b it’s all the way in Bournemouth and I’m in Liverpool, I’d have to drive it back and there no wet weather gear, is there any quick cheap cover I could make for it just to get me back home, I will be looking to get a proper roof soon as it’s home….. any ideas much appropriated thanks Shaun

How about a waterproof one piece suit (motorbike style) and a crash helmet?  I've driven mine in the middle of winter dressed like that.  If the 2B has got a windscreen you shouldn't get too wet when you're moving - but it's a bit different if you get stuck in a traffic jam!

It was precipitating cats and dogs for my Iva so I used a sheet of thick plastic and duct tape to make a snug tonneau cover that just gave room for me to get in. The examiner creased up when he saw it but he did appreciate the dry seat. Lasted 40 miles at about 50 no problem.
