What are these hoods from?

Responding to Shaun in the wanted ads, I dug out some hoods that I had acquired at some stage.  The question, is what are they from?  Did they ever come pre-fitted with fasteners at some stage? They are better quality than the ones from my old S7 which were supplied unadulterated, but I have no real idea what they would fit.

The bottom one looks like the one I bought with the Exmo kit in 1996. (batch 2)

The windows and drainage gutter are the same.

It came with press studs to be fitted to suit the car.

The turnbuckle fittings under the windows would have been fitted by the original owner as press studswere cheeper and as such what was supplied by RH.

To add to the above the later batches of Exmos had a bigger quarter window which was plastic welded in.

The hoods were optional extras and not always bought with the car.

In case it's not obvious, the top one is a tonneau cover for a car with Cobra hoops rather than the usual full width rollover bar...no idea if RHs could ever be ordered with Cobra hoops?

Ah thanks - I had assumed it was for high backed seats.  So I guess it was more likely a bespoke pattern.

Is there any likelihood of the other one fitting a 2B - I don't know how the dimensions differ between that and the Exmo.

Cobra hoops were a £50+VAT option on the Sub K kit in 2002 and in 2005, a no cost option on 2B and a £30+VAT on the lightweight.

Ah - an option on the 2B - the plot thickens.

Yes, pretty rare option. Here's one from an old forum classified advert (2007), it's a sub-K but you get the idea.

RH had the same windscreens on all the 7 type cars so the front should fit.

The width was set by the sierra rear axle and so should fit.

You just have 2 make up 1 or 2 bows to support the hood plus mounting brackets.

These were just bent 25mm steel tube, 2 were supplied but most builders did like me and used the roll bar as the rear one so one to bend.

Then there are the side screens
