Lincolnshire Meets for June

A bit of a late call but we suddenly found a nice day when our core members are available.   So we are going to visit Sywell Aviation Museum this Wednesday (16th).   Anyone who fancies joining us is welcome, 1200 pm, bring a packed lunch and a chair

And what a cracking day it was.  We each drove between 45 mins and 75 mins in glorious weather (So 100 miles round trip for me and a bit of a challenge to my cooling system but it coped).  Sywell was very busy with the Spitfire giving rides (From £2700 for 30 mins !!), the Blades Display team doing a flying experience day, along with a T6-Texan (Harvard to us Brits), a Tiger Moth and a multitude of small planes, helicopters and a microlight to watch while picnicking   And a lovely little free museum rounded off the day.

We managed to park so there were 4 classic machines in shot (5 if you include the Jetstream)  Socially distanced of course

The next outing is planned for 29th or 30th June.    Haven't decided where to go yet, looking for inspiration.  Any ideas ?  Anyone want to join us ?

It's now going to be 1200pm on Wednesday 30th at Eyebrook Reservoir.  Nothing to do there, just sit and admire the view, have lunch and talk about kit cars.  very relaxing
