Sounds like a real blast. The SKCC guys around here are also a great bunch.

But they do hustle on a bit quick for me nowadays. 

The mileages per day suggest you were doing the same...

Well, the Rogue Runners are the less mental members in the club (half of them are retired ) and not the full-on nutters who normally go out on the Sunday runs.

The trip is not a gentle cruise and we only tend to stop for petrol and coffee. Days start with breakfast at 8, on the road by 9, back by 5-6pm, so reasonably relaxed. Some  people do tootle along and maybe skip bits of the route but for most of us, it's great to blast the cobwebs away
