North West Meet-Ups/Events???

Does anyone know if there are any events planned in the North West region coming up?

I am based in Cheshire, so would love to meet up with other RHOCAR members in the North Wales/Cheshire/Lancashire/Greater Manchester areas if anyone is up for it?

I am in Warrington so a few miles north of you.

We recently had a run out round winter hill near north of Bolton. I expect that we will do more run outs but am looking for a route for the next one.

I am thinking that my next trip will be Sunday 1st of May, returning Monday 2nd May.

Tarporley A51 to Nantwich to Woore to just short of Stone.
North of Stone A34 to south of Stone then A51 again.
A51 Rugeley to Lichfield, A51 through Lichfield to Bassetts Pole then
A446 to Coleshill then Stone bridge.
A452 to Balsall Common to Kenilworth to crossing the A46.
Berricote Road to Stoneleigh Road.
Kit car show.

We could meet at the stretton fox pub which is at junction 10 of the M56 if you are interested.

Hi All,

Are there any car meets/ shows/ events in your locality that we could use as a base and a "meet up" for the NW RHOCar members?

All seems to have gone quiet in the NW area!

A member mentioned previous area meets at the Phantom Winger, Broughton. Thoughts on setting this up again or perhaps another venue? Ideas and comments welcome. 

I don't mind doing a bit of groundwork to get things going but don't want to be on my own.

When? - Sunday 3rd July,

Time? – runs from 8.30am until about 12.30pm. (I am planning to get there about 10.15am.)

Where? -Charity Farm, Smithy Brow, Toogood Lane, Wrightington, Nr Wigan, Lancashire WN6 9PP

Hi All,

Great run out the The Corner House Meets at Charity Fam, Wrightington, over 100 cars in attendance, bacon butties and a brew, kicking tyres with like minded people, what a fab morning. (check it out on Facebook for more pictures)

Now I'm not an expert in recognising types of cars but there were TVR's, Ferraris, Porsches, Cobra replicas, MG's from yesteryear, a nice JBA Falcon, a lovely blue GTM, minis, rally liveried cars, a gorgeous 1991 RS Escort, an XR2, a Datsun Cherry (couldn't see any rust ) and a tractor! (I have missed a load I am sure. A couple of piccies attached along with my pick of the Porsche bunch.

They hold these meets first Sunday of every month, no cost to enter, surely if you live in the NW this should be on your radar, see you all next month.

Hi All,

You have seen the details regarding the Newark Kit Car Festival being held this weekend (see the separate event notification for details)

This event has been absent for 13 years, the weather should be good this weekend (ever the optimist!) so why not have a run down and a fantastic day/ weekend out.

I am sure if this event is supported then along with Stoneleigh we will have two great shows to look forward to in years to come.

I am planning on travelling down on one of the days (yet to be confirmed) is anyone else going? Let us know your intentions.
