Bike carbs with crank case & oil cap breather?

What’s everyone done with their breathers when fitting bike carbs?

hearing mixed options on just venting the crankcase to atmosphere and putting a little pod filter on the filler cap but then some people route both to a catch can, thoughts?

ideally I’d prefer not to have a catch can to keep the engine bay tidier! But don’t want to cause any issues, any help is much appreciated!

I don't know if carbs make a difference but with my injected Zetec, I started off with just a filter from the rocker cover. Works fine but it does cause a mist of oil to build up which looks a mess. I've now added a catch tank and it keeps the area cleaner, with no obvious side affects to engine performance.
