I always encourage people who sell their cars to pass on details of the Club to the new owner.   I don't recall anyone actually saying that this encouraged them to join although I assume it does happen.   Although we have never considered honoring the remainder of the membership to be transferred to the new owner.   Seems like a good idea.  I'll check with the Committee.

Not a bad idea. I asked the guy who brought my car to join the club  I will message him to see if he did.

Well, that was a memorable month 😀   As usual we lost a few, in this case eight.  But unusually I actually had three of them reply to my messages, two had sold their cars and one was just taking a sabbatical.   So my thanks to them for their good manners.

But the big news was the new members.  I am used to getting slightly less than we lost but this month we got a remarkable sixteen new members, the most I have seen in my 3 years in post.   So a huge welcome to:
