Torn hood

I am looking into buying a tiger Cat E1, and the owner tells me the hood has a roughly 15cm straight tear in it, he believes this is an easy fix, just interested to find out if anyone knows about patching/fixing hoods, and whether or not it is doable? Sadly I don’t have any pictures of it though!

Hood repairs are doable.

Easy depends on appearance after the repair.

I have glued and sewn a patch on the inside, from the outside the repair can be seen but it keeps the rain out. From the inside it is obvious.

Local saddler & horse rug repairers might be able to help you, but again it all depends where the tear is & how 'neat' you want the finish
