have a tiger cat E1 with the spax coilovers from tiger in it , but want to lift the nose of it up a little bit , have them screwed up full but sump is very low , want to know if anyone has put longer coilovers in theres to lift the nose up a bit , its only for a fun day out not track , screwed full up they are only 29cm long , is it possible to put longer ones in it , only got the car on sunday

I'm not sure how the coil-overs are fitted on your car but can you fit a spacer under the bottom mount (or above the top) ?

Hello, I have a tiger cat e1 with spax coilovers.

what engine are you running?

mine has a 2.0 Ford pinto and the sump was 4 fingers away from the road!

If you want to raise the coil-overs just for the sump clearance, I would suggest a short, purpose-build sump.

Brand new they go around £150 which is not too bad all things considered….

where do you get the short sumps , i need one as well as mine has been modified and sits to low

i think thats the sump thats already in my car , but my coilovers are leaking anyway so need to replace them , where can i get new one to fit the tiger E1 front , thanks for your help

Have a word with the manufacturer and see if they have any replacement parts for your Tiger…
