Robin Hood 2B For Sale

Featured Replies

Robin Hood 2B (wishbone front suspension). Oxford Blue.

IVA'd by me in 2011 and registered as Robin Hood on the V5. MOT’d until May 2027.

16,800 miles, very reliable (only ever one breakdown which was in its early days due to an incorrectly positioned alternator bracket).

Engine:

Ford SOHC (Pinto) 2.0 litre. Sought-after 205 block. Shortened sump for ground clearance. Sump side-extended to maintain standard oil capacity.

Performance cam; actual cam type/profile unknown. (See Dyno curves (photo below) from most recent rolling road session (2023)).

Autosport Labs Megajolt fully programmable ignition controller, utilizing Throttle Position Sensor. Dual, on-the-fly switchable ignition configuration.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX9R (2001 E1) Keihin carburettors on custom inlet manifold. (The carbs are bolted securely to the manifold using the original Kawasaki mounting rubbers (no silicone tube and jubilee clips)). Fuel pump perfectly matched to the carbs (from the same donor motorcycle).

Robin Hood stainless steel 4 into 1 exhaust manifold and stainless silencer.

Kenlowe thermo-electric fan controller.

Transmission:

Ford Type 9 gearbox (5 speed).

Sierra 7” 3.92 diff with Lobro bolt-on driveshafts.

Suspension:

GBS front wishbone upgrade (significantly improving geometry and handling).

Gaz coilovers all round, supplied by Dave at Dampertech.

Brakes:

Servo-assisted.

Front - Sierra vented discs.

Rear – Sierra solid discs.

Wheels and Tyres:

Fox 15", 5 spoke alloy wheels fitted with 195/50 15 Toyo Proxes R1R performance tyres (plenty of tread left).

Interior & exterior:

Fully carpeted interior. Mercedes SLK (R171) leather seats. Sabelt 4 point harnesses. Sierra instruments.

Centre-hinged bonnet. Mike Satur rear windbreak screen (MGF/TF). Lockable boot cover.

Vicky Green wiring harness (modified and upgraded with AMP Superseal connectors in vulnerable "wet" areas). Battery-top fusebox (ensures no unfused wires, including the large starter motor feed). Centre tunnel power socket.

Wipac Crystal Clear 7" headlamps. Lucas 14W, 2 speed wiper motor. 3 speed heater blower.

Supplied with a removable custom made Surrey top.

£4950 ono

Added ULEZ info

I didn't think you'd have any trouble selling it, especially with those seats 😄 - somebody has got a good car there.

You know what I'm going to say ..................... anyone we know?
