Robin Hood 2B Plus. (Wishbone front suspension)

Built by myself and passed SVA in 2007. It is correctly registered as a Robin Hood on the V5.

MOT until June 27.

It has covered 23000 miles and has proved to be very reliable.

It is fitted with a 2.0 EFI pinto engine running the original Ford injection system breathing through a RamAir filter and four branch manifold..

Cooling is through a large capacity radiator and assisted by an electric fan, it is currently fitted with an 82 degree thermostat and 92 degree fan switch. Over heating has never been an issue.

The gearbox is a Type 9 5 speed and the differential is a standard 7” 3.92 ratio.

Suspension is GAZ shocks all round so adjustable ride height and damper settings. It also benefits from the front wishbone handling kit that corrects the original suspensions bad geometry. The handling kit adds camber adjusters and rose joints on the top wishbone.

Brakes are standard Sierra servo assisted, discs front and drums rear and are more than enough for this car.

Instruments are all Smiths Telemetrix linked to the correct senders so everything reads as it should and they are accurate.

It is fitted with a windscreen, Mini wipers and temp controllable heater for demisting. It passed SVA with the windscreen fitted.

There is full weather gear, roof and doors. The boot is a good size and opened with a key so secure and dry.

It’s running on 15” alloy wheels fitted with 205/50 15 Uniroyal Rainsport 3 tyres that have plenty of tread.
