We are organising our Dirty Duck 2 camping weekend for 2026.  The event is open to anyone who wishes to join Sharon and myself for the weekend or the run out. We look forward to seeing all the usual suspects and it would be lovely to see some new faces,

The camp site is next to a Canal side pub. and Belvoir Castle is a 5 minute drive where you can get food and drinks along with visiting the Castle.

The date for the event is Friday 28th August to Monday 31st August 2026 as it’s a bank holiday weekend. We have booked pitch 3 from Thursday to Monday.  I suggest booking early to get pitches in the same area to left of the site, link to Booking and site plan

We will be eating in the Pub on site Friday evening and it would be great if you could join us, we will be happy to book your table and place your order nearer the time.

The club will be funding a BBQ on the Saturday evening for members  

A run out will be planed for Saturday, details will follow later .

The run out will be on Saturday 29th August leaving at 10.15 and we will be meeting with Richard Crouch (Crouch Recovery)to see there vehicle collection.

We would love to come silly question but is the Dirty Duck a pub? And do they do B&B? With my boy it’s pretty much impossible for us to do camping. Also can someone let me have the location please.

The pub is called The Duck, it's at Woolsthorpe near Grantham. The campsite is next to the pub but the pub doesn't run it. I don't know if they do B&B at The Duck. Here's a link to their website,

A big thank you from me too, another great weekend even if the weather wasn't on our side.

I think we should also give a round of applause to Chris, Charlie and Mark who came from Crewe and back in the rain, in a 2B with no windscreen or roof. Hope you've all thawed out 😀
