July 14Jul 14 On account of a runaway van rolling into the front of my car, I'm in need of someone who can repair it. Can anyone recommend a repairer near Stoke-on-Trent ?Thanks, Steve Edited July 14Jul 14 by Foz Speeling mistook
July 14Jul 14 Sorry to hear this.I hope that nobody was hurt.Is it just cracked or more more serious?Car still derivable?Fingers crossed for you
July 14Jul 14 Author Only a minor bump, the van handbrake didn't hold and it slowly rolled down the hill with the driver chasing it. I'll tell you the full story when I see you - you won't believe it.It's only bodywork damage to the fibreglass "nose" (nothing structural) which doesn't look much but will no doubt run to several thousand. No worries his insurance is paying 😄

July 15Jul 15 Author I knew of a good few bodyshops in the city but didn't realise quite how many there are. Having spent forever on the phone & tinternet I managed to find 2 out of hundreds who repair fibreglass bodywork. One of these only does repairs to TVRs so that left me with a choice of one. They've now had a look at the car and they did seem to know exactly what would need doing and no, it won't be cheap. Hopefully it will all be sorted by Christmas 😄
