July 23Jul 23 My Robin Hood 2B Plus 2l Pinto runs on Honda CB900R carburettors, which currently have no filters. I am not really very happy about this and have bought a few which look like they might work, but so far none fit. The problem is two fold; firstly the lack of space between the carbs and the bonnet support (see first photo), but also the air inlets, which are 53mm, are close together (see second photo) separate filters can only be about 70mm diam. All that I have bought are too long so at least one (probable two) would foul the bonnet support and usually too wide so I can't get them on adjacent carb inlets. Any suggestions/suppliers? If I can find something I am going to have to bend the bonnet support (further) and I'd rather not, and buy two longer filters and two shorter ones and alternate them, but I can't believe that there are no simple filters around that will fit.Note that the photo shows the bonnet slightly raised and therefore exaggerates the gap available. July 24Jul 24 Have a look at Ramair, amybe something like https://ramair-filters.co.uk/ms-007-2x-twin-inlet-motorcycle-carb-sock-air-filter/ They do wide a range of foam filters for bikes (and cars). I'm sure you'll find something you can make fit 🤔
July 24Jul 24 Author Thanks, that is what I might end up doing, the only issue is £70+ is a lot of money to spend on something that might not fit.
