Wanted - Tie Bars For Exmo

Hi Guys

 

I can't make 'em myself - so does anyone know where I can get a pair of tie-bars made up to order...?

 

I also need a bit of advice about strengthening the monocoque where they fit - and any do's don'ts about fitting them.

I bought mine from Dave Andrews a few years back, i don't know if he's still supplying them but it might be worth dropping him an e-mail. Have a look on his web site, there 's some information on there. There's a couple of pictures on this link.

My tie-bars were made about 18 months ago by a chap called Steven Rylands although I don't think he's a member here any more

 

As regards fitting them, I'll be paying my Exmo a visit tomorrow to try and finish off removing the sump and will be able to take some photos of the tie-bars and strengthening for you. A picture is worth 1000's of words....
