How Fast Am I Going

After speaking to people at the Cheshire Kit car show (and getting very wet but generally having a good time) I heard that several people had failed the SVA because the Speedo did not register with the correct speed!

 

Can any one tell me how much the Speedo can be out (if at all)?

I think you maybe refering to my speedo.

I fitted Capri clocks that i bought from a guy that runs the NW Capri club.

I think they must have been bumped at some time as the needle was sitting a good 10mm BELOW the zero .The speeds were constantly out by 10mph.

I removed the needle and replaced it at zero and all was fine.

Normally the clocks should be fine as the come from the doner. mine are in Taffy Robs and thats one thing that he didnt fail on (sorry rob good luck with the retest)
