I'm not sure whether I'll get a pass or not, what with little one and all that. I went last year and what I would say to everyone is that it was probably the best 5 days away I have ever had.

It's a real adventure taking the Hood on such a long trip - half the fun is wondering what spare bits and tools to to take. Stick a tent, some earplugs, a radio and lots of beer in and go off and have a great few days. There's always loads of interesting metal there and you won't believe some of the stuff that makes it! I saw a Rover P6 last year that looked like it had been dragged off the scrap heap for its final journey. Always some interesting people to meet.

If I don't make it, I'll be jealous of you all.

Mick, if we manage to go, we can use one of those springy tether things parents use on small children so they dont run off and get lost!!!!! between our cars!   :p

Thats a sure fire way for both of you to get lost :p

I don't know about the camping yet, or even the ticket prices but I don't think its much  :D  :D

Bill,

Have a look here

This'll give you a good idea about prices.

If you're in the Houx Annex camp site then I'll probably bump into you (I'm organising the RR RFC trip to Le Mans, otherwise I'd offer to help out).

Good to see you're travelling with speed ferries - might see you on the way back.

No need to worry Andy we have Stephen Altwasser and his mate with the Range Rover going along with us on the same ferry and if two years ago are anything to go by there will be a spare car in component form going along just in case. :p :p :p
