Many thanks for all the reply's it seems from Terry' s scan that I have every thing that's shown, I seem to remember that on the dvd's the top of the gearbox tunnel was made from the piece you cut from the floor section, unfortunately the floor has all ready been fitted, time to buy a sheet of stainless I guess. just in case it makes any difference the car is a 2B super spec? that was purchased by the original owner in 2009 and came with a 2lt zetec and has the zero type pedal box. Some of the panels have been cut and folded incorrectly as far as I can make out so it won't take long to use up the sheet Many thanks again for all of the replies Ivan

Does anyone have if they even existed the body panel identification pictures/list or whatever. Just been looking at what came with my 2B and not sure if they're all there. called gbs they sent me a very vague poor quality picture of the zero panel's not very helpful!

Just ordered a 6 piece set from dolphin in the US with temp in C.oil pressure in bar, speedo in mph with all the sensors for less than £200 delivered! !!!! hope this helps someone else Ivan

Hi does anyone know where I can buy a new stainless zetec exhaust manifold for my 2B, I want it to exit from the lower side panel not over the top rail, if not then I'll have to make my own just trying to cut the build time down a bit. Cheers in advance.

Thanks guys but I already have accounts with consumable suppliers as I used to run a 4x4 repair business before the financial downturn On the spacer subject I've made some stainless spacers to suit but mine miraculously are the same both sides! !! And i know not to use stainless in place of 8.8 mild(;-}

I still remember the thrill of my old dutton s2 about 25 to 30 year's ago, reg number LNP4X might still be around, so looking forward to even more adrenalin with 150 plus hp zetec.

I'm beginning to realise that it's all a bit haphazard especially after watching the videos! !!!!!!!!!! I now realise that these kits should never have been sold to anyone without a degree in engineering! No wonder people struggle to pass the iva test. Fair play to those that have. Thanks for that mower man, I do know the difference I'm currently a generator engineer and my father was an hgv engineer so got taught that about 40+ years ago I was just trying to take the easy way, but now I think of it I doubt the list ever went into that much detail anyway hey ho out with the very near gauge and the note pad Cheers Ivan Ivan

Hi again Thanks for the reply's I guess I was just being a bit lazy don't get much time at home mostly in some foreign land. I know screwfix etc do bolts it's just the difference between bolts and set screws that makes the measuring more complicated. thanks for your interest. Ivan

Hi all bought a 2b part built last year and I've just got to the point of re attaching the front suspension someone couldn't drill a straight hole! Anyway I don't appear to have all the nuts and bolts, does anyone have the list that was supposed to come with the kit as I don't seem to have all the paperwork ether! Cheers Ivan

Hi thanks for the response so far, I'v been looking through the dvla and vosa web site's (very time consuming) and i found this: http://www.direct.go.../DG_198210 and this: http://www.direct.go...hicle/DG_190929 all very confusing! it would seem that strictly speaking becuse all of the hubs and rear sub frame came from gbs and are used then i should end up with a q plate, guess ill have to hope that my local dvla (bristol) cant interpret the information either!. think ill give them a call see if they can put me straight. cheers ivan.

The question is if I buy a new engine that has no number like the one from kit spares and i'm not using a donor car how will the dvla select a registration year?? hope some one can help many thanks in advance Ivan
