    Fuel Supply

Hi, I'm building mine with the EFi Pinto, and using the RH supplied SS tank. After advice given on here, I'm going to use acarb version fuel tank sender, with extended pick up, and an external swirl pot. I've no idea about the pipes you talk about!!! So I'll await other replies and make notes myself. Nicko
  2. Chris, thanks for adding the picture, saved me a job! I did find that my Sierra wheels wouldn't fit, so had to fit the RHSC wheels whilst building. Nicko
  3. Hi, I'm not sure (at work at the mo) but I think mine have a gap of 10 to 20mm, and by the look of the Photo's mine's the other way round. i.e. The plate with the bent bar is reversed, putting the bar nearest the tyre, with a higher kick up at the front. My kit had the latest front suspension. That means the wing brackets were welded to the dummy strut thingies. I could try and take a photo, but it will not be for a couple of days.
  4. Saw a capri many years ago with the reg UPU 51R, but spaced to say UP U 51R. I was thinking (read trying to find the money!!) of buying a Super Spec, and then going to buy N10 KRH for £350. With a strategically spaced screw, it could read N1CKO RH..... Well....... I liked the idea. Nicko
  5. Hi, Just found this site. Don't know if will help you!! http://auto.novgorod.ru/tech/haynes-ford-sierra/0903-wd.pdf Nick
  6. Fordall in Sheffield (01142634643) may be able to help. I rang them earlier this year and they said they had built 7 replica's in the past. They are really a Ford and Vauxhall breakers, but you never know.
  7. Hi Phill, I don't know if the SuperSpec is the same, but on my videos for the 2B a measurement is given from the rear panel, over the roll bar, and to the windscreen top. I can check this for you, or alternatively, it was in the bit with instructions for fitting the wet weather gear (I think!!)

    R H Fuel Tank

Thanks Phil, this info I'm sure will be invaluable. I'd pondered on the idea of getting a carb model's sender and going that route. Now I know you've got it to work, I'll probably do the same. Thanks again

    Fuel Tank

Here's some info I picked up this year before buying my kit. Allyfab 01246822353 MK Engineering 01909731187 (fuel tank(ali) £99.88 inc vat) I also found a company in Bolsover, Derbyshire, but I can't find their info. I will post again if I can find it. Good luck.

    R H Fuel Tank

Thanks for the advice so far. My donor tank was rotten, but had 2 (I think) little pipes fitted to the left side. 1 for the feed, and 1 for the return. I was hoping to fit a similar system, but to an external swirl pot. My main problem is how to connect these 2 pipes, and what to use. I presume I need to things in this order:- Fuel tank, filter, swirl pot, fuel pump, then feed to front of car. Any more help would be gratefully received.

    R H Fuel Tank

Hi all, can anyone give me some advice on connecting fuel lines to the R H stainless tank. I'm new on here, with ownership of my 2B heading into it's sixth week.
