    Front Wings

I've seen somewhere that if you use some flat sheet folded round the tube of the wing stay like a P clip and screwed/bolted in place. Drill a few holes in the flat part of the P clip and "glue" to that, it will give a greater surface area for the "glue" to grip to. HTH Nick

    Eckington Car Show

I've been in the past, but as it starts mid afternoon, and finishes at 8ish work usually gets in the way. Doubt I'll have time this year, which is a shame as it's very close to me, and usually a good turnout of a mix of cars and bikes. Nick
  12. Hi, I hope to be there, maybe Sue as well. Nick
  13. I know mines a 2B, but creaking all but disappeared when I got rid of the zimmers. Nick

    Slow Filling Up

Before I changed my filler I found turning the filler nozzle upside down made life easier. I moved my filler to the top panel next to boot lid, and now it fills as good as my tin top. Nick
  15. Dave at Dampertech knows his stuff, got mine from him and they changed the car totally. I bought the front 2 within a month of getting mine on the road, then changed the rears the following year. I took my Missus out in mine and made sure it bottomed out, which scared her, she asked how I could fix it... my reply was to throw £200 at the front of the car, she said to do it. I didn't argue. Nick
  16. Does anyone know what happens if your exhaust is too noisy? do you get your money back? Nick
  17. Superspec is a 2b with different shape transmission tunnel and a dropped floor (basically) so should be close. Nick
  18. I always have my baseball cap on a "leash" and on the way back from Stoneleigh it came off my head once. It came off at under 70 but I may have gone a bit faster than that at times, and that was with no doors on. Nick
  19. I didn't take any photos, only realized when I got home. Nice to see my car featured in a photo, thanks Nick
  20. I'm not sure if I've woken up in an alternate universe... No clouds, it's warm, car is packed.... Is it actually Stoneleigh this weekend???? See you all later Nick
  21. Looking good for us to meet up too, 11:30 should be fine. Nick
  22. For info, download works on my phone with plenty of info visible. Thanks Keith Nick
  23. I shaped a piece of timber, painted black, and screwed from underneath to cover mine, but I have seen 3 or 4 rubber grommets fitted in each "vent" to good effect. Nick
  24. We should be there, don't know which car though, we'll decide on the day. Nick
