hi dan you can do the norm skim and port the head kent cam bestek ignition is a good upgrade bike carbs will make it run sweeter compared to webbers depends how far you want to go and how much you've got to spend did all that to my pinto still wasn't satisfied so have gone for zetec now

has anyone got any views on the nodiz system cos don't no if megajolt is best or nodiz only advantage so far can see with nodiz you don't need the eddis pack

hi les the estimate that you have had sounds about wright for a boiler to be fitted correctly and registered people see the price of a boiler and think it can be fitted for 150 quid I would love to be able to do it at that price id have work seven days a week but because of the high costs involved in being gas registered and running a van and pli insurance and all the tools required to fit the boiler to manufactures instructions and commission it correctly so that the warranty isn't voided these are hidden costs that people just don't consider !!!!! sorry ranting again !!!!

I have spent about a thousand pound with them over the last couple of months don't now in total how much I have saved but I now the clutch kit retailed at £330 and I go it for about £160 rock on

as chris said its a safe engine so replace belt and the least you will need is a pretractor to set cam up if you want to set it up properly you will need a dti gauge as well

I would have bike carbs over webers far smoother and easier to set up

hi kevin I had the same problem turned out to be where the wiring came through from steering wheel it had rubbed on chassis and had worn through I had given up looking for it then I was doing something else on the car and I spotted it . wiring wot a pain

no there is nothing at the other end of the carbs its blank so a megasquirt will not run off of crank sensor alone because all I want the megasquirt for is to replace a dizzy

hi all I want to run the zetec on bike carbs and a megasquirt I have been trying to find some carbs with throttle sensor on there a bit hard to find have been offered some zx10 throttle bodies but don't now if they would work do I need a throttle sensor to run a megasquirt because I have a set of zx6 carbs but they don't have a throttle sensor

have you checked valve stem seal on that cylinder

the engine in my 2b was the same it ran fine no issues just don't run it with cam cover off

well seeing as I did a sucsessfull engine rebuild on the van I treated it to new discs and pads tracrodends and lowerballjoints all courtesy of eurocarparts chainging lower ball joints are a pain had to grind off rivets on ball joints when I got my nine inch man tool out to do the job the wife said don't you think that's a bit dangerous that's the first time she has questioned the size of man tool

im after a full gasket set full cambelt kit new water pump smaller oil filter and maybe some internal bits trying to locate stuff with engine code but as per the code on engine completely different to what it should be it starts with ngb cant find that anywhere
