You beat me brumster head gaskets can go between piston and water way no oil involved and just gets spat out exhaust which would cause white smoke
Fiat fire engines were renowed for this
Just thought I would ask on here before finding else where
I am after the following
1. Dash warning lights (selection)
2. Blade style busbar fusebox (2)
3. Relay holders
4. Battery tray and clamp
5. Bonnet catches
Will add bits if they come up thanks
As Richy said IVA with pinto then swop for 2.0 pinto or even zetec but once iva done with pinto any engine can be fitted without having to put cat on etc
Go for it i just got one although mine was a freebie it looks good separated to looms but not yet fitted as got to order starter buttons etc and been finishing kitchen
I got to add to loom and remove some wires as using megajolt and electric fuel pump
My hood in bits no lights, wiring, suspension, windscreen, seats, dash etc got carried away with mods nearly going to be rebuild so will be in outlander if i make it so come in insignia keith least be warm and be nice to see you
Seen that bob not sure what way to go but the ignition side gets me confused
I know the sierra had ignition/starter relay but where in wiring did it go
I know i will have to put relays in for fan as the loom is for early sierra with vicous so after fit and horn didnt have a relay before as after fit with just button and inline fuse
Also got to figure megajolt and electric fuel pump in somewhere
Just been looking at the premier loom and has only got 4 relay holders
1.dip beam
2.main beam
3.flasher/indicator
4.intermitant (which i suppose wiper)
Or is the intermitant meaning the ignition
So where do i put an ignition relay
Do i need one
Going to put in isolater switch, and pust button start keeping original sierra switch i think so where will an ignition relay go
Good luck peter i too know the feeling mine wasnt good news but over it now so no matter what keep up the fight and light always at end of tunnel
Hope all good for you
