Cracking day, cheers all for organising it! I need to add suncream to the tool box!
There were a couple spins and @Matt brown offering an off-road experience but everyone made it off the track ok! This event was 1 car at a time so the only danger is your right foot. Plenty of space to get it wrong and come out the other side ok as you find the limits of your grip/talent.....like I did haha
Well I aim to provide a full experience.
Was a fantastic day a finding the limits since the turbo and LSD was fitted.
Thanks to everyone that came and hopefully we will be able to do something else in the future

I'll aim to get there by 0900 to start setting up unless Matt and Jas who are taking most of the gear are getting there earlier. Signing on shouldn't take more than a few minutes and we can't be noisy before 1000 but we could maybe do a slow lap or two for sighting purposes.
The top loop is the oval and figure eight part at the top end without the sweeping left hand turn from the Western end of the circuit. I think they don't allow use of this part for private sessions as the speeds can get a bit to high to use safely without having marshals everywhere. We will try and use part of the bottom end of the circuit for slowing down after the end of the laps no one needs to be braking hard at the end of a run.
Fingers crossed 9am should be fine depends on finishing work early enough tomorrow to nip to the wholesalers to get food and consumables. If not I'll have to nip on the way

Classic Car Club
Mission: find the nation’s best club – the ultimate winner!
In 2017 we revealed Britain’s best classic café, in 2018 it was the nation’s favourite classic destination that we uncovered – now we are looking for Britain’s finest classic car club. Practical Classics and Footman James are on the hunt for the nation’s very best local club and it’s the ‘local’ bit that is most important. We would like you to nominate your favourite local classic car club or local branch of a national classic car club.
The 30 most popular nominated clubs will go forward to a national vote and then the top ten clubs, those with the most votes, will be visited by the FJ/PC team as they head out once blast from place to place on an epic tour of the nation...Click the link below and vote for us!!!

A flat head screw driver and hammer to get the clip out

I use these for oil tap into the block and to the turbo. Ether T into the oil pressure gauge hole or about 6 inches towards the back of the engine from the oil pressure switch there's another hole with a grub bolt in it which is the same as the oil pressure switch one, which is what I used
And this into the turbo feed
Nothing else required for oil feed

You will have to clock the turbo in the housing. (Not a nice or easy job) but it is pretty simple just have a look on YouTube how to do it. Only thing with that though is you will need to make a bracket to hold the actuator as it will no longer fit on the original mount points

Trevor harmer from the nwkcog has been in talks with CKC and Santa Pod to piggy back onto show but will be having a dedicated area I believe
