Thanks for your time on this. at present I do not have a temp gauge I am using a k type thermocouple that I am placing on metal pipe on the coolant system.

Sorry for the typo again..... ZETEC...... great advise and thank you . Andy from Scottish kit cars has been very helpful. He has said that the fan is fitted incorrectly. The guy I bought I from fitted it on the front of the radiator nearest the nose cone. Andy said it needs to be on the back of the radiator nearest the engine. At the moment I am running around 110 degrees c. will see what happens when I move the fan.

Dose anyone know what the coolant running temp is for a 2.0l vetec blacktop engine and what is the maximum temperature?

Andy from Scottish kit car who supplied the crate vetec blacktop engine has been so helpful one again. the problem was the filter from the tank to the pump. I had cleaned this filter but it was not clean enough. replaced with new filter and boy oh boy dose she run.

I think so. Don’t know what to do though......

My S7 2.0 vetec blacktop is in for mot. When it got warm it was sputtering when accelerating. any ideas? Tony G

I am struggling finding seats to fit my S7 and it’s driving me crazy. is the B2 bigger than the S7 and will the B2 take proper size seat. just wondering if I should sell my S7 and get a B

Thanks for that think I will go with the 4 point seat belts.

Dose anyone know if you have to have 4 point seat belt or is lap belt acceptable for mot. My car is registered as a Robin Hood if that makes any difference.

Is the sides fir the prop shaft tunnel there for chassis strength or just to cover prop shaft. is it possible to modify this as there is wasted space inside the tunnel?

Did you try the 41cm hip width ones from JK? what seats did you fit into your?

Springs and shocks

Has anyone bought tillet seats. I have seen http://www.jkcomposites.com/ these look good and do a 41cm wide seat. I am not the smallest of men and just wondering if anyone has bought these and what the fit is like for larger man.

Lovey car, where did you get the seats and what model are they.

My S7 has 15” alloys the rear of the car is high / huge gap between tyre and wheel arch. do I need lowered springs? If so where to buy just rear springs.

Got my car moving under its own steam...... only thing is when selecting a gear it is crunchy..... especially reverse. I cannot see any adjustments for the clutch cable. Any ideas / suggestions many thanks Tony

I have managed to raise the column by a good 20mm this will help. Think I am going to modify the pedals.

I have installed the B&G quick release which is made to a very high standard recommended by another member. I have a 30cm round Momo steering wheel? I have looked at the rack position and it seems as high as it can go. It would be better if the steering wheel was to be higher? On another note what seats have you fitted to your S7. Regards Tony
