Lovely thank you very much guys, any other tricks from 3d printers for the cars?
-
That’s smart, do you have any way of getting it with holes? Or could I just cut out, don’t know anyone with a 3d printer but now I really want I know someone!

Thanks Andi, living with snetterton close I really wanted to get on the track but think they will hamper that, but hoping normal road use will be fine, I’ve not physically driven yet on road, the springs are perilously close to the rim, have you found any issues at all? Or works around like spacers?

Are there any off the shelf items for the shrouding around the steering column / stalks , the current one doesn’t fit very well and need to get a smart alternative

Smashing job, thank you, just checked and I have 4mm2 and 50m of sleeving so that should be enough!

Thanks Ian, what size wire is the best for that?
-
Thanks Ian, can I have a dummies mode, the item has no mounting screws, just stuck at the moment, so I will be adding a mounting screw to secure, to Earth this where would I need to connect too, just onto metal plate inside the indicator itself to the screw, or part of the chassis as the screw is only onto fibre glass?

There's nothing that you can "do" to make it cheaper as its black and white if vehicle is registered correctly other than change engine, taking a vin and reg from a car and going down exempt route is akin to well a rabbit hole of legal and moral issues and then false economy as you'll be paying insurance which wouldn't be worth the paper it's written on and then the implications of that in a time of need for other parties also.

Have tried, but none like this and simple, CBS sell on there but out of stock and have been for months

No no, thats a hard no on that deal, I think alot of people on here prefer the build, I myself have the last bits needed to complete all of my rebuild and I'm already getting itchy that I'll not have a build in progress soon

I've not got one fitted but I'll bow to a few on here who would be able to give you the right advice for your set up if needed, you need to get pics on for us to see

Steering column tidy up
in Fitting & bodywork

Well, eye is in the detail and all that, well not the details but in plain sight even, so I found a local company to print in 3d, amazed at the option of this, they printed overnight and I went and picked up, rubbing my hands together I drove back home to fit, only to realise mine is a bloody escort column and stalks, so doesn’t fit!! So that’s going straight up for sale! Anyone know how to find a file for that?
