Best check, for me is " are the tyres comfortably warm to the touch after a good A road run in overcast days when tarmac is not hot or cold.

I have a very strong smell of petrol coming from my fiel tank area, all pipes are ok so is the tank .Could it be the breather filter or the casket a round the filler cap or the one round the sender unit
