  1. Thanks Steve, that looks more like it and thankyou for taking the time to help me
  2. Dear all, I am fitting my steering column to my 2B. The lower bracket seems fine, but the other one at the wheel end seems to thin? it is pinched together with bolts? Is this right for the IVA? I am thinking to make a new bracket from thicker steel? Has anyone else come across this problem? Many Thanks Neil

Hello all, Does anyone have a o/s/f hub from an early Ford Sierra they don't want? Mine seems to have two N/S ones and no ABS. Thanks Neil. PS I am in Oxfordshire

    steering rack

Thanks everyone for your comments. Its a Escort steering rack which has rubbers on it when fitted to an Escort. But I think I will just bolt it straight on the chassis.

    steering rack

can anyone tell me if I need to fit rubber mountings to my rack? I have bought the mountings but now the mounting brackets don't seem to fit Thanks Neil
  10. Thanks for your reply Richy. I think it will be a lot cheaper too, the floor panel is £140. I'LL use angle iron instead.
  11. Can anyone help please. I have seen on the internet a floor panel for sale that strengthens the floor of a 2B. If I fit this panel do I still need the angle iron for the handbrake and seat mountings. the panel is 3mm thick. thanks Neil

    chassis

Hello everyone!! I have just purchased a robin hood kit that has sat in someone's garage for 10 years. So I will have lots of questions as the build goes along. The chassis is stainless steel so do I need to paint it?? Thanks Neil
