  1. another awesome weekend with the rhocar family. a great venue, loved the catering and the band, thought the bingo was a fab idea and even a hold up on the motorway on the way home didnt put a damper on things. thanks to all involed for organising.

  5. would love to join you all for dinner but as i'm gluten intolerant beef stew and dumplings would not do me any favours (but it does sound heavenly) we will make our own dinner plans but will be joining you all for a spot of falling down water later. hog roast meat is fine for a GF diet - just remember to bring your own buns and the people running it are happy to fill them for you. avoid the burgers and hot dogs at the show - not only are they flipping expensive but they are not high quality and mostly contain breadcrumbs as thickeners/binders etc. the food halls inside do jacket potatoes etc which are quite reasonable. the chips available round the showground are ok to have too. I tend to bring emergency supplies of a few tins of Heinz products (most of which are GF) just in case.
  6. great tribute to a great man
  7. a shame I could only make it along for 1 night but a thoroughly enjoyable way to round off what has been a great year for Rhocar campouts. we even had fab weather. it was lovely to spend time with the regulars, nice to meet new folk and to catch up with some others. got talked into driving the tractor - what a hoot that was. a big thanks to all that made this weekend possible and a big thanks also to everyone who came along and made it so enjoyable.
  8. a great weekend all round. thanks to stephen and lesley for the organising, thanks to Al for his exceptional BBQ skills and thanks also to everyone who came along to make it so enjoyable.
  9. another great show. Saturday evening was by far the funniest - haven't laughed that much for ages. hog roast was good, and so was the company. would definitely recommend a rhocar camp out for anyone who's not yet had the pleasure
  10. full list of committee including pictures is under the news section of the forum
  11. hi Stephen the tent we'll need to bring with 2 small and fuzzies in tow is the big 8 berth one (aka the Hilton) is this a problem? also is it too late to request an electric hook up? thanks Becks
