  1. As far as i know you use the same size Cleco as the rivet you are useing , thus ensureing all holes line up for riveting . They are used alot in the aircraft industry. Mike
  2. Whenever i have used a jigsaw on SS or MS i used plenty of water to keep the blade cool and it lasts a lot longer too , the last time i cut up a whole sheet of 6'x3'x1/16 MS into brackets useing one blade and it still last well before i snapped it in the end. Mike

    I would have to agree with Sadjagboy that ebay is becoming less attractive seeing as there are more and more businesses using it, as over the last few weeks i have been watching what price the Oregon 5k action cams have been fetching and in the end i got a new one from Amazon for much less the the s/h ones have been fetching on ebay, so it does pay to do a wee bit of searching for what you require.     Oh yes snipeing is the only way to go and i totaly agree with Ian as its the only way to get a good deal. I wonder it may have been me Jess as i sniped and won an item for £12.50 yesterday evening that i had been watching for a few days and only bid on it once before then. Mike

    Do a search on ebay for "exhaust bends" as there are over 100 results for MS and SS bends & pipes, you may find what you want there. If not speak to CBS as there have a firm near them who make Silencers for them . Mike

  12. Hi Al, I mounted mine just under the dash to the right on the driver side so that i can get at it easy to reset it should the need arrise , i also use mine as yet another anti theft device by just giving it a tap as it then shuts the fuel pump off . Mike

    After i made my wind deflectors , i also made the hinges as i wanted them longer than the standard hinges so i could get three bolts through so as to help spread the weight on the polycarbonate , Mike
  21. I use a Sykes-Pickavante 270 series model i bought in 1995, not cheap though as then it was almost £116 , included a few bags of end fittings and that was with my trade discount , also got a cheap hand flairing tool for running repairs etc , they are ok if you are carefull. Mike
  22. Check the engine block breather pipe isnt blocked and the inline vac valve stuck/blocked possibly before the inlet manifold if thats where your is routed to. Mike
  23. Hi , If you can take the tunnel top off you should be able to remove the propshaft as i can on mine i know as i when i upgraded from a four speed to a Type 9 5 speed gearbox the same propshaft went in afterwards so i had no problems. Hope this helps. Mike
