  1. The distributor body has a notch in the top and the cap has a location feature that fits in it. The two spring clips that hold the cap on should engage with the same amount of effort. If one is more difficult, the cap isn't on correctly.
  2. Yellow should fit. Green should be symmetrically opposite. The fact it looks to fit around the yellow one suggests it might not be, so needs checking carefully. Blue won't unless you fitted the complete panel in place of the original metal panels which is likely to be a big job.
  3. The won't fit, they don't have a down turned flange to mount to the side panel.
  4. The curved edge below the tape measure in the first photo matches the curve in the side panel in front of the wheel. Depending on how your side panels were fitted, you might get some small gapping here.
  5. Dolomite based S7. https://nw.rhocar.org/identification.htm What about veneer covered ply for the dash?

  15. Never seen one of these. Brand new with instructions. Comes with cable and all fittings. Does away with the plastic quadrant adjuster in the Sierra pedal box and has the adjustable part at the bottom end by the clutch arm. The cable is SCC1010 (Ford 6066674) which is identical to this: https://www.burtonpower.com/clutch-cable-ford-cortina-mk3-mk4-1-6-2-0-sohc-pinto-to-8-79-qcc1010.html £12 can take to EOSB next month or I'll post it for £15 all in.

    Sierra ECU

Part number 85GB-12A297-CA I'm probably going to end up binning this but if someone wants it as a spare they can have it for the postage cost which will be less than a tenner or I can take it to EOSB next month.
  17. Sierra brake servo. Brand new. £40 Collect from Tamworth or can take to EOSB next month or post at your cost.

    Radiator

Used but looks in reasonable condition, not sure what it's off as there's no markings on it. Copper core, plastic headers. Core is 430mm wide by 450mm high excluding the filler cap. Overall width across the mountings is 530mm. Hose connections are at 90deg pointing outwards and 32mm diameter. Might be useful as a spare. £20 collect from Tamworth or can take to EOSB next month or post at your cost.
  19. I'm selling this as used because I can't guarantee it's brand new although I suspect it is. MK2 Escort rack as fitted to Superspec. It's missing the gaiters but these are easy enough to get hold of. It has been fitted with collars to limit the steering lock. With these removed it is 2.9 turns lock to lock so quicker than a standard 3.5 turn rack. The rack mountings are spaced at 265mm between centres. 580mm between the knuckle centres and 1020mm overall. Track rod ends look to be M14x2mm thread. I want £45 for it which is cheap. Prefer collection from Tamworth or I can take to EOSB next month at Market Harborough. Might consider posting it at cost price but it's big and will take a bit of wrapping.
  20. Good on you for organising it. Would have like to have gone but a bit too much of a trek from the Midlands. It's still on my list to do if I find myself up that way.
