  7. Used Beverly 2 times. Guys really fair and helpful both times. No experience of others
  8. Hi Sott Welcome aboard. Best move you could have done joining the forum. Join the club for a few quid will pay you back over and over again.. a mass of knowledge and help awaits. You can down load the IVA Manual here https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-approval/individual-vehicle-approval-manuals Also pretty sure you will also need to have a VIN number stamped into Chassis now. You can choose your own VIN number as long as its exclusive 17 digits any combo Also will need a VIN plate attached (all described) in the manual. Good luck
  9. Condensation build up. Cold pipes/rad getting heated by forced air? Never had any issues with mine though
  10. Nice Dan I was pretty much on the bubble when I said 240Bhp I got 230 on mine with 205lb/Ft torque....and that was a beast...enjoy but be careful as it will bite The torque meant I hardly ever needed to change gear
  11. Dan I had mine adjusted so 1st TB was open 1/2" approx when 2nd one was closed ( no throttle)...
  12. Are you getting fuel to carbs? Possibly a blocked fuel filter if not.
  13. Great to see everyone yesterday. Good turnout and a couple of new faces ( one very new..... baby Grim) Think I surprised a few also Thanks Marcus for the lift and reminding me of the V8 roar lol Hopefully be in a car again this year. See you all at stonleigh
  14. Fell off my bloody crutches laughing.....almost in A&E again lol
  15. I must admit I'm concerned at what my next premium will be after my Cobra crash. I can't praise AFlux enough. Been painless so far and had agreed value in my account within 3 weeks of accident. What concerns me is even though it's going on other driver ( police prosecuting him) it's gonna be months before it's finally sorted. In the mean time I'm in limbo and tintop renewal will go up.... a lot for no fault of mine. Grrrr No claims protection is a waste of time as they just load the initial premium instead...
  16. 230 bop 210ib/ft Should be similar to mine. Just ensure decent cooling on intake as every +1 deg = -1bhp approx so +20deg temp increase on intake air = 20bhp less
  17. Still not mobile so can't make it. Pushing hard to get the pins working but could be a while... see you all as soon as
  18. Not unless I can thumb a lift in an ambulance But definately sometime in spring...I hope
  19. Dumped the walking frame and progressed to crutches today, so definite progress. Just damn difficult with no knee movement. If you're in the area nick give me a bell....
  20. Well back in hospital today for 1st check up. All looking ok. Had a peak at X-rays... hmm that's gonna be fun getting through airport scanners. Both Knees now held together with loads of pins, straps metal plates and I'm sure a few cable ties ha ha. A work of art. Been told right knee is in worst shape and likely to be in full plaster for 10-12 weeks.
  21. Told you I was chunky again lol. Blaming it on the 2 full leg cast. Must be doubling my lightness Lol
  22. Home at last What a palaver..... Can't fault the NHS staff at hospital but coming home OMG!! I had warned hospital that I had 3-4 steps up to house but internal access ok. Arrived after sat in waiting for 7 hrs so not in best of moods.Crew saw steps then said sorry can't get you in too many steps to lift stretcher over. So I'd have to go back to hospital!!! After promising to sign a disclaimer got them to off load me from ambulance whilst 3 mates used a blanket sling and carried me in. H&S gone mad!!!!!! Ambulance crew stood at door and watched. Rant over!!! Home now safe and sound thank god. Gonna spend quality time with those closest to me. Merry Xmas all and for me a tough few months ahead.
  23. Don't worry there will be a replacement, once I've got my two pins operating again.....I need to use all the spare parts I ordered for the winter job list that's now sat in the garage lol Otherwise I'll get polishing withdrawal
