just an update for you, he took the car in at lunch time today and it passed :)
Quoted £270-00 (to repair the abs pump) + £30-00 (to read the fault codes to make sure) to fix the fault
looks like he will have to do it before the next MOT :o
Quick question:-
One of the lads at work has a car that is due an MOT, The traction control light is on, NOT the ABS, is this a fail?
He just needs to know if he needs to spend the £450.00+ he has been quoted to have it fixed, and is getting mixed answers when he ask's "down the pub"

Don't forget to insulate the cable where it goes under the exhaust manifold, I used some silicone tube then covered it in heat reflective foil.
