  1. I recently replaced the very poor sponge sandwhich pancake filter on my 2Ltr Pinto with another much superior one from Aldon Automotive (aldonautomotive.co.uk) This being a "Weber high performance air filter" by Webcon (webcon.co.uk). So far I have found it to be excellent in performance and looks a treat being chromed and value for money Paul.
  2. Treat your self to "How The West Was Won" Oh My God Zep at their finest!
  3. I run a Series 3A with 2Lt pinto and no servo and yes the pedal is hard but I get good feed back. As for the heat in the foot well; I don't have a heater, so the hot air is a pleasure in the cooler months but can toast the toes a little in summer (if my memory serves me well!)
  4. I'm still off the road with dodgy electrics and SORN. I'm aiming to be back in circulation by Stoneliegh
  5. I doubt this would have saved Rover! It looks like it is a rejigged Metro/Rover 100. Where is this located? Paul

  7. Well I got as far (near) as the Wheat Sheaf in Sheldon when my lights went out! Checked the fuses and found one had blown. Changed the fuse. SMOKE FROM THE FUSE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!! Drove 3 miles home with no lights/indicators etc, just hazards! I'll be laying it up for the remainder of the winter now, so I now have a project! Paul.
  8. Weather permitting and if I can get my lights working I'll be there Paul
  9. In my opnion, a Seven is not a Seven without a rasping exhaust note! Who hasn't changed down to 3rd when top would do, just to blip the throttle for an audible delight? Come on, we all have and still do!!
  10. With the temperature as low is it must have been and no screen, your smile must be frozen into place! .........................as a march hare springs to mind!
  11. I have Cobra 7s on runners in my 3A. I'm 6'2" and have to slide down in the seat a little with the hood up - solution = no hood up! Paul
