    Megajolt Kit

Hello again chaps, ive decided a cheaper alternative for the time being is to run my 1.8cvh on bike carbs, ive done some research and found a few guys that have done the same thing nad passed the iva. ive sourced the carbs, but fallen short on trying to find a resaonably priced megajolt kit, for less than £290. i dont suppose any of you guys know a good place to get one a bit cheaper do ya. Thanks in advance Jon

    Cvh Doesnt Fit

hi steve, the inlet manifold caught on the chassis rail that runs in the engine bay, dasdly something broke whilst trying to fit it too. ive done spme research and found a few people that are running the 1.8 cvh on bike cars (zx6r) with a megajolt for the ignition. i just need to find a megajolt kit thats less than £290. so guess what my next post is haha

    Cvh Doesnt Fit

Hi All Just a little advice if ya could please. I went to fit my CVH engine the other day and to my dismay it doesn’t fit, it’s the 1.8 Single point injection type. It appears I left some vital factors out when measuring lol. so, my questions are, do you think it would pass an emissions test with bike carbs on? Also has anyone fitted a bike engine to their hoods, i was toying with that idea and am totally in the dark on what the complications would be. Any help is gratefully received
  4. Thnaks Jez, Just stumbled upon them on te CBS website...pricey they are but sod it you only live once. Thanks Jon
  5. Hi I have bought some nice toggle switches for certain functions on my car, but i can imagine a toggle switch left bare will fail the IVA as in the event of a crash no doubt the toggle switch could be slightly dangerous..... So does anyone know where i could obtain a cover for them, not the full covers like an aircraft may have, but something like a curved bar either side of the switch to stop the protrusion...i think the new minis have such an idea.....I think Thanks in advance Jon
  6. Hi Guys, I am just putting all my dash and scuttle together on my Zero and am not over keen on the intended design route for the dash, has anyone done anything different with their dash? If so any chance of posting some pics for inspiration. Many thanks Jon

    Wheel Studs

I hit mine out with a hammer then pulled them back in using washers and a wheel stud, 5 minutes each wheel. no need to warm or lubricate just gentle persuasion.
  8. Are you talking without the use of a Cat?
  9. yeh, i looked at the carbs for a cheaper alternative to throttle bodies, as far as i know the carbs required a megajolt and manifold etc, but after asking several other people they all chipped in other bits and none of it matched, so who better to ask than you guys.........(im not offended, the only silly question is the question thats not asked) right then, seen as its a unanimous no no on the bike carbs, does anyone know how to do the throttle bodies for less than the GBS £2200? thanks Jon

  11. Hi, I'm going down the zetec/bike carb route, but lack information on what i actually require, i am of the understanding that i obviously need the engine and bike carbs , but, what else would i require? I know there is a lot of help on here but im not finding any thing that points me in the right direction Any help is appreciated. Thanks Jon

    Engine Type

i can imagine there would have been too much power, i would have spent most my time just burning rubber when setting off, i think ill just have to stick with the zetec and get it tuned up. thanks for your input chaps Jon

    Engine Type

Does anybody know if an engine out of a 1998 (that era of car) Ford Mondeo ST will fit a zero? its a V6 24v 2.5L. It looks like a big engine but think it would be pretty impressive if it did fit. thanks Jon

    Its A Rip Off

is that £25 for people going in the hoods or for everyone? is that per person too if so, think ill give it a miss
  15. hi Rob thanks for pointing me in the right direction, i guess with a bit of persuasion and some master class hiding i can get it to look good. may get certain panels re made as the one that covers the tabs is far to small to even fit around properely.......!!!! never mind it keeps me out of mischief i guess thanks again and to tony too for the pics
