Andi, just before the route enters Uppingham there are a series of speed bumps that we wont be able to get over, we can turn off just before them towards Seaton, and come into Uppingham from the East.

How about a stop off at foxton locks for lunch, you can use the pub, or either the cafe at the top for a bacon butty or a snack at the one at the bottom opposite the pub. Parking cars at the bottom would be the best option, I use it and its pay and display, costs about £2. Kerry

If you find yourself with a burst header tank return hose and no way of joining the hose, remove the header tank, turn it round so the pipe when cut will reach and refix it with cable ties. It worked to get Phil home after this happend on the M1 last week.it took 3 of use to come up with this tip, truth in the saying 3 heads are better than 1. Kerry
