  1. Just finishing the air filter housing and I have a small snag, open to ideas. I do not want to cut the nose cone, don't mind cutting the bonnet (again). Do you think a heat gun would make the GRP soft enough to bend or is there a spacer I could use to extend the back plate?
  2. It is possible with rivets and paste, but you will keep chasing leaks. Most workshops will weld for you and are reasonably priced.
  3. I used some mig welding wire fed from the suspension mount then used another piece to fish it out of hole in roll bar.
  4. I used Landover mounts 10mm thread, both sides OEM part number NRC9560. Cheap enough on eBay.
  5. The best solution would be 3D printed in black, I don't know anyone with a printer so I just used black silicone sealer. I did drill the roll bar and fed cable from rear brake lights.
  6. Brave man, I stopped counting after £10k so she who must be obeyed never finds out.
  7. What do you use on the gel coat for a good long lasting shine and to protect from the elements?
  8. Here's mine, on the left hand side it's just plain house brick. Going to paint it soon and put up a few signs and storage containers.
  9. I find myself with some spare time and some old garage signs so thought I would tidy the garage. I have been putting this off for 5 years. Show me a picture of your garage, car shed, man cave or workshop.
  10. The best I have seen was individual LEDs drilled through the wheel arch, looked very smart.
  11. Another one to the list, just got some old garage signs so I might make the garage a little more homely.
  12. A deep clean, treat the vinyl, rubber trim and clean in side of light lenses.
  13. Leicester and EOSB left, with a maybe for Wales.
  14. Try this place https://metalhardware.co.uk/lift-off-hinge-right-hand-jspl01r-12 I believe they are the 1st picture in the list on the link above.
  15. Showroom shine works on my stainless steel.
  16. Never have you seen how quiet the roads are, flask of coffee, packed lunch and quick comfort break in a bush!
  17. Leathermans, adjustable spanner, cable ties, spare coil and clutch cable.
  18. I know we have done this before, but for the new members please state below what tools and spares you carry in the kit car?
