  1. First on list for is to clean the garage is has been neglected over the last few months. Then finish the nitro, make a tow bar for trailer tent, replace ATR sump with ERA sump. Then in month 3 of the lock down thinking I will paint the garage walls and put up some old signs.
  2. What's the next job you intend to do on the kit car or tin top, whilst isolated in the garage?
  3. I was looking at Yokohama A048, fitted to Elise sport.
  4. We can operate on your leg, after a few drinks, I have played operation before and I tend to fix anything with gaffer tape and cable ties. How hard can it be?

    Spark plugs

The instructions suggest a single earth pin can get very hot and cause pre-ignition, 3 pin earth spreads the heat and less likely to cause ignition prematurely.

    Spark plugs

I have just started to play with nitrous and for higher powered jets I need to retard the ignition and fit colder spark plugs with 3 earth pins. Always fitted OEM parts so how do I find colder spark plugs with 3 earth pins for ST170 engine?
  7. Try this http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=180168
  8. I could be up for this one, the site states camping but then on the application form it states no tents.
  9. Just wondering who makes the best mechanics hand tools? Please select your option.
  10. If you won the lottery or came into some money, what car would you buy? Firstly no I have not won the lottery. I would like the top of the range Velar, just think they look amazing and iconic.
  11. My system has a NOS management unit linked to the throttle position sensor and learns the difference. Also the jets fitted to the fogger for both fuel and NOS can be change to either increase or decrease the volume of NOS and additional fuel to give you the horse power you need. Mine will work with wide open throttle others kick in at 3000rpm. Launch control has to be next...
  12. Thanks, bit of a bird nest under the dash!
  13. Backside for 55hp jets, but proper rolling road and second map programming for 100hp because I need colder plugs and retard ignition circa 4'degrees.

Just had a massive shock, I am no longer a UK kit car club member. After crying profusely for an hour I managed to pick myself up from the floor and re-joined. Do we not remind members that their membership is going to lapse?
  20. Stu (theduck) was premature and guessed correctly, even had the right colour bottle. I was going to load some photos but the option is no longer available. Hopefully my engine will survive if not, its only an afternoon to fit another. Starting off with 55hp jets because I do not have to retard the engine ignition or fit colder plugs, it is a fully managed Zex (yes Zex not Sex) system with single a fogger for fuel and nitrous. I have a bottle warmer, auto-bottle opener and just for fun a purge switch which I suspect will be used more than actually driving.
  21. OK what's big, shiny, purple and can blow when excited?
  22. Cheers Andi, see you on the 5th March I will forward Jase and co.
  23. I got mine in 2012 and it was starting to bubble before I finished building. A powder coating company said it was down to poor preparation.
  24. Congratulations Dean and Danielle, all the best for the future. My advice for a long happy marriage have some me time and listen to each other!
