  1. Hi Graeme, apologies I don't think I can assist as my car is fitted with a DOHC Ford Engine from as Sierra Sapphire ! Good LUCK on curing your problem, that then leaves space for the next anomaly to occur, it's a KIT CAR thing Cheers Steve
  2. Perhaps you can add decals to the side of your vehicle like the Pilots did in WW2 with a Coach or whatever else seems to fit the occasion ? Cheers Steve

  12. I thought about a removable one but I have seats that are on runners which assists me whilst exiting the car, I too thought it is a great "Anti Theft Device" but seem to remember that a fellow club member had told me that I would need the lower part of the boss welded on to the steering column ! I feel sure there are other very clever people on here who will correct me and advise otherwise. I saw there where some at reasonable prices at Stoneleigh but sadly this year I will not be attending Good LUCK with your plans remember when you think it's all OK you will surely find something else that perhaps could be or look better it's an extension of YOU

    Ramp

Hi Steve, interesting thread, just wondering you say you have air tools so I guess you have a compressor ? Not sure what sort of money they would be but what about an Air (Bag) Lift similar to the sort of things the Emergency Services use to lift vehicles in an accident, probably too expensive but using a system to lock the Ramp into position once at the required height might be a feasible option ? Cheers Steve

  18. Hi not sure I have a 2B Superspec which I think is about 3 or 3.5 inches wider, I was happier to have the little extra room. I am sure there are far superior beings on here who will give you a much better explanation. Mine was Built by GBS for the original owner it has Stainless Chassis and Panels and has a 2.0 Sierra Sapphire DOHC engine, I purchased it from fleabay ! The original owner decided he did not like the seats or the wheels and swopped the seats for Leather Cobra Seats and Black wheels which you will be able to see in the Garage. Cheers Steve NB Just been out to the garage and mine is 44 inches approximately across the driver and passenger area :-)
  19. Yep mine says "0" too so that's 2B or not 2B which is not a Zero

  22. Bob, always remember a close friend who ran a container depot ( shipping containers ) who we used to phone to say drivers were waiting at the gate to pick up and off load but could not get lifted. He always used to say we currently breaking up pallets to stick under the crane's fuel tank to set light to the pallets to unfreeze the diesel will ring back when we have ignition , for the crane that is :-) Cheers Steve
  23. Bob, remembered well as is John Peel Cheers Steve
