  1. Lazy weekend. Bit of a progress. Goody box arrived and i set about fitting it. Had a trim laser cut in aluminium and rolled to the curve on the door. Fits over the door opening dooda Had a few minutes of stupidity with the hammer and formed the end of the fuel pipe. I will have it trimmed and welded on this week I then fitted all the brake lines Enjoy until next time
  2. I am away from home at the moment and can't find my spreadsheet. I believe all sensors get a reference 5v from the dash. The manual tells you the maximum current you can pull. Believe it's in the milliamp range. Size your resistors with the v=ir equation to get the current you should pull. Voltage should be from 5v from dash to 0v for empty tank. Will confirm all this when I find my old spreadsheet. Hope this all helps. Quote from racetechology. If you run the sensor from the 5v reference then ensure that the maximum current for the reference output is not exceeded. For the DASH2 this is a total maximum load of 50mA
  3. Bit more progress, wiring gone in needs terminating. Dreading wiring the dash in. Should really get one with it. I installed the fuel tank. I think it is too bright. It will be sent off for powder coating next week. I just have to sand it down before sending it off. I also had the bonnet locating dowels turned down and installed. The perspex screens have now been cut and installed for the windows No more update this week. Silly work is in the way
  4. Test drove a ginetta G40 tonight. Darty as they get but stupidly fun. Was surprised at the pace. Got to have one now. Anyways on the Sebring, we had a bit of progress glass fitted. Thanks Marcus for the contact New ultra expensive uprated drive shafts fitted

The engine is a rover v8. As tvrs go, I think that ones with the v8 are the most reliable.

  20. South yorks. Appreciate the offer but its a bit far for you southern lads and lasses.Unless you all fancy a road trip
  21. Another set back. I have had a discussion with the body shop. The bonnet fit was not great and I have been informed they have gone over the quoted cost. I asked them to stop and return the car. I really feel like I have been fleeced, they might have actually spent the time. Which means they intentionally quoted lower before to get the job and bump it up. Problem is the car's value is more than the work cost and I do not have the time to waste as I plan an hillclimb in April. Car is back home now all ready for paint and I will be painting it myself soon. The unfortunate thing is that, their work is very good. I don't think I will have a garage work on my car again. They all seem to be the same. Last one filled holes with silicon. Everyone just seems to be out for themselves at the detriment of others. Anyways, picture of where things are as dropped off on Saturday. Anyways, I need some help to get her wired and running. Anyone fancy giving us a hand wiring?
  22. Called in at then painters today. They are making steady progress. The doors look great. Now that the filler has been applied to smooth it out. The weight and closing action is great. Who would have thought a lot of filler has its use?
