If you aren’t bothered about the colour of a replacement nose, why not just repair and paint the one you have?
Sorry I thought I replied…… the amount of fibre glass I’d need, then trying to align the nose cone, gel coat repair flat and polishing, just seems a lot of work

The won't fit, they don't have a down turned flange to mount to the side panel.
So the yellow rear arches pictured won’t fit a 2b?

Thanks I’ll get them, worth a try

Weird - works for me (obviously)...maybe try on a normal PC rather than a phone?
Is that an iPhone? They are sometimes a bit hyper-protective over what you can click on...
Thanks I’ll try on my laptop later

I didn't use a water rail but several pages in my blog may help.
This one in particular has a diagram that may be useful:

That’s all I can see…. Blank

If you know the person's forum username (which is what I put in the welcome post) and want to sent a message, click the 3 bar icon at top right of the screen. Click the envelope, click compose new, enter the user name. As you type, or if the name is valid, you'll see a list of users appear and you can click the one you want.
Add a subject, type you message and send it. The forum software will send the message to their inbox and send them an email notification that they have been contacted. No personal data is shared so it's compliant.
If they don't want to be contacted, they can just ignore the message.
Thanks for letting me know that

Can you just send him a message directly, now I'm off the Committee (as of yesterday's AGM), I'm trying to take a bit of a step backwards.
I can’t find people on the forum anymore, How do I do that?

Just got back from a great weekend at Stoneleigh. OK the weather could have been better and yes it probably was a bit smaller than previous shows but the fact that it was on and I got the chance to meet members both old and new is something to be grateful for.
Following yesterday's AGM, I'm no longer on the Committee, either as Club Secretary or Membership Secretary so this will be my last welcome post for new members.
So welcome along to the following people who joined in April, remember to try and add your location to the Members Map. Also, if you see a new member local to you, why not send them a personal message and try and arrange a meet up sometime.

Honestly - it really frightened me…I’m always very health and safety conscious…one lapse and Christ did i nearly pay for it! I’ve put the grinder away in the shed - never liked it and always scared of it!
That’s the part of my conversion I’ve not liked, the grinder and welder hate both

So…a couple of updates since I last posted…
Number 1 is semi-serious as I came close to never posting again.
4 days ago, and a couple of days after the birth of my 2nd child, I decided to quickly do some work on the car.
After cutting a hole in the bulkhead I decided to use the grinder to smooth off the edges. As it was a tricky area I had to remove the guard (mistake 1), I also had shorts on (mistake 2). On the last pass with the grinder the disc grabbed, the jarring motion sent it into my leg, across my groin and jamming into my stomach!
I walked off the pain, relived no one had seen my idiocy - when I looked down I saw the 5inch long, 1 inch gash in my leg!
6 hours in A and E resulted in the removal of part of the disc, stitches and a lesson learned - genuinely…6 inches higher and I may not be here to tell the tale!
Very lucky man

If use can see the blue circle plate doesn’t seem structural, so I think that could come off, the bit I’ve made red could I take section out and plate in there instead, my first thought was getting the prop made longer, or maybe a spacer in the diff… I don’t know to be honest, all ideas and opinions welcome
