  1. If we get the weather and this will be a good end to the season.
  2. Seeing as I fogot to SORN, I'd best get some use out of it.
  3. I'm pretty sure but not 100% that the rack on my 2B plus is an escort rack but fitted with longer arms to reach the standard Sierra track food ends.
  4. Why not get the 2B handling kit from GBS, it really improves the car front end geometry.
  5. Wonder if the BHP30 would work in std EFI engine? 195 is good price.

  7. I'm guessing we'd be there around an hour to get adequated fed and watered, so allowing for delays we could say aim to leave at 13:30. Once everyone is there we can see how we are for time and play it by ear.
  8. Revise to meet at BP on A5 for an early splash and dash, should be 82miles to next fuel from there so good for all. 1 copper kettle on A5 CV9 1RE dep 9:15 29 miles to next stop. 2 Now BP on A5 ST19 5PR, Dep 10:00 43 miles to next stop 3 Montford bridge on A5 SY4 1EB. 9. Thanks all involved for making this another great Hoodstock. The car survived another excursion into the wilds of Leicestershire.

  11. Been having a think, you could hear the cogs whirring. If we go by previous trips then meeting points and depatures would be. 1 copper kettle on A5 CV9 1RE dep 9:15 26 miles to next stop. 2 Truckers Rest on A5 WS11 1SF dep 10:00, 46 miles to next stop. 3 Montford bridge on A5 SY4 1EB. Dep 11:00 39 miles to Glassblobbery. Looking at mileage and fuel, its apparent why we always stop at Dobbies. For me from home to Dobbies is around 80 miles probably 90 for leicester guys. Going to Glassblobbery takes my milage to 130 which is a bit too far. So Im thinking a fuel stop is needed before or near Dobbies, I can see 4 options on route. 1 M54 junc4 theres shell garage this is 16miles from Truckers rest. Would need to fill again at Glassblobbery. 2 M54 junc6 theres a tesco I'd guess 20 miles fron truckers rest, again would need to fill up again. 3 Sainsburys opposite Dobbies in Shrewsbury around 35 miles from truckers rest. 4 Hit Dobbies and meet up at Montford bridge cafe, when ever you can get out. I can usually get to Nefyn from Dobbies without needing to fill up, just under 100miles. Anyhow thats my thoughts for the day,if you intend to meet at one of stops post it up so we dont leave anyone behind. And can we be ready to leave on time.
  12. 205/50/15 gives the same rolling diameter as the Sierra wheels so worth noting if you have sierra clocks or are using speedo cable. Cable turns 1000 revs per mile std for ford.
  13. Hi Dan its a bit of a trek for an evening so would have to come on a weekend, got Hoodstock and Wales weekend coming up so may have to wait til after them.
  14. Sounds plenty good enough for a 2B and just about within the weight range with driver in. Where about are you?
  15. Hi Dan, corner weighting is domething I've been looking into doing for a while. I can do toe, caster and camber and I think doing the corner weights is the next step. What kit do you have, I have beer tokens ready and waiting.
  16. Mine went back on with the original adhesive just made sure i kept it clean.
  17. Sounds like you had some air in there that got purged through a couple of heat cycles. If its ok now I wouldn't change anything, even with my pinto setup it takes a couple of heat cycles to fully purge any air.
  18. Mines been on 3 nose cones (long story), warm the badge from below and above with a hair drier should lift off with a bit of persuasion.
